1. Introduction

True Size ("the App") is a Shopify application developed by Moxie ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when merchants install and use our App.

By using True Size, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Shopify store and catalog data

When you install True Size, we access data from your Shopify store through Shopify's APIs as permitted by the scopes you approve, including for example:

• Product and variant data (for configuring fit and size-related settings)
• Collections (to assign dynamic size guides where applicable)
• Metaobjects and metafields related to size charts and fit configuration
• Store-level settings needed to operate the App (languages, widget preferences you save)

This data is used strictly to provide the core functionality of the App.

b. Data we store on our servers

We may store limited merchant configuration in our application database, including shop identifiers, subscription or plan state synchronized with Shopify Billing, fit configuration, translation overrides, and similar settings required to run the App. We do not use this information for advertising or resale.

c. Storefront and app proxy

The storefront may request data through Shopify's app proxy (for example product identifiers and locale) so buyers can see fit and size information on the product page. We apply reasonable safeguards (such as rate limiting). We do not use the app proxy to track individual buyers for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide fit and size comparison experiences on your storefront
• Let you configure products, rules, translations, and widget appearance in the App admin
• Maintain billing and plan entitlements through Shopify
• Operate, secure, and improve the App

We do NOT use this data for advertising or unrelated profiling.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data.

We may share data only when required by law, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect the rights and security of our users or our service.

5. Data Retention

We retain merchant configuration only as long as needed to provide the App. When the App is uninstalled, we delete associated application data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to backups and legal requirements. Shopify may retain certain store data according to Shopify's own policies.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Shopify Compliance

True Size operates in accordance with Shopify's API Terms and applicable data protection requirements. We implement mandatory compliance webhooks required for Shopify apps (for example uninstall and regulatory topics enabled for your app listing).

Merchants may request access, correction, or deletion of stored application data where applicable. Contact us using the information below.
